The WKL components are older than the application needs (code 32)
The window of the starter says: “The WKL components on this computer are older than the application needs.” Below it stands the error code 32; the diagnostic details (Alt+D) hold the technical detail, also the output of Wkl.Bootstrapper.exe /diagnose. The exit code of the starter is 32.
Environment
WKL Bootstrapper 1.0 and later on Windows 11. Supported: Windows 11 with Microsoft Access of Microsoft 365, 32 bit.
Cause
The registered release of WKL Forms Object Library is older than the one in requires of app-manifest.json, and the delivery brings no newer one. An application built for release 2.0 or later (type library WklForms)
finds every registered 1.x too old.
Resolution
- Deliver the WKL components of the release the application was built with in the
componentsfolder of the source; the starter registers them for the user.
