The starter is incomplete: its settings file is missing (code 10)

The window of the starter says: “The starter is incomplete: its settings file is missing.” Below it stands the error code 10; the diagnostic details (Alt+D) hold the technical detail, also the output of Wkl.Bootstrapper.exe /diagnose. The exit code of the starter is 10.

WKL Bootstrapper 1.0 and later on Windows 11. Supported: Windows 11 with Microsoft Access of Microsoft 365, 32 bit.

There is no bootstrapper.json next to Wkl.Bootstrapper.exe. The EXE alone does not know which application to start.

1. Put the bootstrapper.json of the delivery next to the EXE (see Format 1).
2. A shortcut must point at the EXE in the folder that holds the file, not at a copy of the EXE somewhere else.
