Design view shows sample nodes instead of the data

In Design view, a bound WklTreeView shows a sample tree (the name of the record source with „Node 2“, „Node 3“, …), or a WklTreeList shows its header with the hint „The design view shows the data with LivePreview = Yes“, even though Form view shows the records.

WKL Forms Object Library with the LivePreview property, including forms saved without a value for it, to which the default applies.

LivePreview is False by default. Design view then never queries the record source, so forms bound to pass-through queries or large linked tables open in Design view without delay. The binding itself is intact.

1. To see the data in Design view, set LivePreview to Yes (property sheet, Other tab, or the designer's Appearance page, Live preview with real data) (how-to).
2. To check the binding without changing the property, open the designer window (Custom row, [...]); its preview always shows the real data.
