BizWay (house template)

BizWay is the wiki's house template. It owns the colour tokens, three colour schemes, the page grid of both shells, the header and footer, and the option-driven blocks of the public area. It is written for operators who set the appearance and the page types, and for authors who maintain marker pages and section blocks.

None. The house convention for layout sketches is a stored wksnippet asset, and this template has no such asset yet; the wiki has no diagram renderer installed either. The two shells are described in prose under Core concepts below and in full in the German reference. This is a known gap, not an omission.

• Two shells in one template. The same package renders the public marketing area and the documentation area, and the area profile decides which.
• Three colour schemes driven by the --wk-* token contract, switchable by an operator without touching a stylesheet.
• Option-driven page types for the public area: hero, features, trust and call-to-action blocks are composed from marker pages and section blocks rather than formatted by hand.
• One navigation page per language, inherited by nearest-page lookup, with an automatic flyout for published blog categories.
• A language control in the header that offers every language a page is actually published in, and search-engine hreflang data for the same set.
• A single-row navigation bar above 1023 px that moves into a drawer below it, in every language.

The template renders one of two shells per page. The site profile produces the classic BizWay presentation — header band with the logo, dark blue navigation bar, optional right sidebar, hero, features, gallery and contact page types, and a footer with widget columns. The wiki profile replaces it with a four-column documentation layout in the style of Google Developers and Microsoft Learn, gaining a fifth column above 1024 px. Which profile applies is resolved per page, not per site.

Everything visible is driven by tokens rather than hard-coded colour values, which is why an operator can change the whole appearance from the configuration manager. Full detail: technical reference (German).

• The navigation bar shows only the home icon. That language has no nav page. The upward lookup found nothing, so the template draws a bar with the single entry it can always produce. Nothing fails and nothing is logged — a one-entry bar reads as a deliberately sparse menu, not as a page nobody wrote.
• The language control is missing from the header. The page is published in one language only, or it is not in the public area. The control renders nothing when a page has no alternates.
• The menu bar stays blue after switching the colour scheme. Known limitation: its texture is a fixed bitmap, so schemes other than the blue one recolour every other element but not the bar.
• The navigation bar breaks into two rows. Something was added to the bar without measuring the space left in all five languages. See the reserve rule in the navigation reference (German).
