    Postquantensichere Verschlüsselung in automatisierten Systemen

    Challenge

    Control and SCADA systems cannot be renewed at the pace of cryptography. They run for decades, their algorithms do not. The question behind the project: how do you replace the algorithm without touching the plant?

    Solution

    Implementation of ML-DSA and ML-KEM to NIST standard, preparation for FIPS 140-3 validation (module boundary, self-tests, documentation), review against BSI TR-02102, performance benchmarks and attack testing.

    Result

    A gateway that keeps the algorithms at the edge of the plant instead of inside it. The control system keeps speaking its protocol; the algorithm behind it can be exchanged. Algorithms, key lengths and measurements are documented.
