This notice describes which personal data is processed when you visit these pages, and on what basis.

With every request your browser transmits data that the web server records in a log file:

• IP address of the requesting device
• date and time of the request
• the address requested, together with the status code and the amount of data transferred
• browser identification and, if your browser sends it, the page you came from

This processing is technically necessary in order to deliver the pages, and it also serves operational security. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; the legitimate interest lies in undisturbed and secure operation.

Log data is deleted once it is no longer required for those purposes. If it is needed to investigate a security incident, it is retained until that investigation is concluded.

The provider processes the log data described above on our behalf and is bound by our instructions; a data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place. The servers are located in Germany.

These pages load no content from third-party servers. Fonts, images, style sheets and scripts are held entirely on our own server. Opening a page therefore establishes no connection to a third party, and your IP address is transmitted to no third party.

In particular, none of the following are embedded: third-party web fonts, map services, video embeds, social network buttons, content delivery networks.

Usage behaviour is not analysed. No profiles are created, no recognition identifier is set, and no data is transmitted to an analytics service.

Only technically necessary cookies are used. They serve neither cross-session recognition nor any form of analysis.

Anyone who reads these pages without signing in and without changing a display setting receives none of these cookies. No consent is required, because they are strictly necessary for operation.

Search works from an index held on the same server. Your search terms are transmitted to no third party and are not stored permanently.

Pages keep a change history that records the address of the editor for every change. Visitors cannot edit; as a visitor you leave no entry there.

There is no contact form. If you contact us at one of the addresses given, we process what you send in order to answer your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where the enquiry concerns a contract, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The details are deleted once the enquiry has been dealt with and no retention obligation stands in the way.

Apart from the processor named under “Hosting”, no one receives personal data. No transfer to a country outside the European Union takes place.

In relation to the controllers you have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR), data portability (Art. 20 GDPR), and the right to object to processing based on a legitimate interest (Art. 21 GDPR). Please write to one of the addresses above.

Independently of this you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). The competent authority is the one where you reside, where you work, or where the alleged infringement took place; for the controllers these are the Hamburgische Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit and the Informacijski pooblaščenec of the Republic of Slovenia.

No automated decision-making in individual cases, including profiling, within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR takes place.

This notice applies from 21 August 2026. It will be adjusted if the processing changes.
