Connecting to ERP systems.
Supported Systems
The Gateway can connect to any SQL-based ERP database:
- SAP (via SAP HANA or SQL export)
- Microsoft Dynamics (SQL Server)
- PSI PENTA (SQL Server / Oracle)
- proALPHA (SQL Server)
- Sage (SQL Server)
Architecture
[ERP Database] <-> [Data Gateway] <-> [Applications]
Example: Dynamics 365
- Configure Gateway on Dynamics SQL Server
- Read-only user with view access
- OData endpoint for Excel/Power BI
Best Practices
- Only expose views (no base tables)
- Dedicated database user
- Read access sufficient for reporting
