6.14 Security Structure/User rights
For database usage by different Site/Plants, a security structure with different user accounts has been set up.

Security database
The security structure is managed with the auxiliary database „Security.mdb“.
Storage location: vol2\da_pundt\db_access\amed\server
Reading Current Status
- Function Administration/User management → „Export Security.mdb and Start“
- View the status in the newly opened Access database

Making Changes
Adding new users:
- Add a new Record in the security structure list
Assigning group:
- Make Site/Plant assignment
- Assign Motor ownership Permissions
Activation:
- AMED function „Administration → User management → Import and Overwrite“
It is recommended to create a Data Backup of the „security.mdb“ file. This allows an old structure to be reactivated if needed.
