5.2 Edit Damage Reports

Edit Damage Reports

New Report Processing

Only the „Repair Issuer“ user can process received reports. Repair reporters have no modification rights in this menu.

In the yellow-marked area, work can be assigned to different trades:

  • Mechanics (M)
  • Electrical I&C (E)
  • Piping (R)
  • Other (S)

Additional input options:

  • Other text
  • Issuer
  • Work release number

Workflow

  • If a report is categorized (M/E/R/S) → moves to Open Repairs
  • If a Turnaround number is selected → moves to the Turnaround system
  • Entry in Date-Completed → Completion notification and transfer to Data Archive

Duplicate Record

If a report must be processed by different teams, it can be split using „Duplicate Record“ (e.g., Mechanics and Electrical I&C).

Overview

In this function, all reports are listed. Using standard MS Access filter options, specific repairs can be filtered out.

Selection-based filter:

  1. Place cursor in a field (e.g., Equipment)
  2. Right-click → Selection-based Filter
  3. All records of the selected equipment are displayed
  4. Filter can be further refined
