2.3 Owner Function
In the motor form, the owner of the motor can be specified in the „Owner“ field. This is typically done when creating a new motor.
Data Protection through Owner Function
The owner function provides protection for the following data fields:
- Location
- Motor master data
- Mechanics
- Electrics
- Safety
Only the motor owner can modify this data. If the owner changes their own owner status, they can no longer access the motor data mentioned above from that point on.
The data in the „User Data“ fields can be modified by all users with editing permissions.
Exclusive Rights
In addition to the regular owner function, an exclusive right can be granted.
The exclusive right ensures that the motor can only be used within the owner's own Site/Plant. The motor is no longer displayed for selection to other users.
