Solutions for typical certificate issues.

Cause: Certificate not installed or expired.

Solution:

1. Check certificate in certificate store
2. Check validity (expiration date)
3. If expired: Request new certificate from IT

Cause: Server does not accept your certificate.

Solution:

1. Contact IT department
2. Certificate may have been revoked
3. Request new certificate

Cause: Company CA not installed on your PC.

Solution:

1. Contact IT helpdesk
2. Root certificate must be installed

Before expiration (about 4 weeks in advance):

1. Request new certificate from IT
2. Old certificate remains valid until expiration
3. Install new certificate
4. Test connections
