2.7 Practical Example
Scenario: A motor is dismantled from equipment and sent for repair. A replacement motor is connected to this equipment from the Warehouse.
Moving Motor (Warehouse → Equipment)
Tab Site/Plant Selection → Select the current Site/Plant
Tab Menu → Click Motor Data button
Click Edit/Mount button
Click Motor Mounting button (Symbol A→B)
In the upper Equipment table, search for the equipment number in the extEquipNr column
Select the row with the mouse (row is highlighted in black)
Click decouple Motor button
In the header, select motor warehouse Workshop (Motor Warehouse Workshop table -Status W- opens below)
In the lower table, select the first row of the Motor Warehouse with the mouse
Click Insert Motor(s) button
Answer No to the prompt asking whether Power Distribution circuit data should be deleted!
In the header, select motor warehouse General (all warehouse motors -Status L-)
In the lower table, select the INVENTNR column
Open search mode (Ctrl+F)
Enter the Inventory Number of the new motor and confirm with Enter
Close the search window
Click decouple Motor button
In the upper table, search for the equipment number
Select the row
Click Insert Motor(s) button
Click Close Form button (Symbol: Door)
Update Reference File
Tab Site/Plant Selection → Select the current Site/Plant
Tab Menu → Click Motor Data button
Click Search/Reference button
Click Set Reference Motor button (Symbol: =…)
In the INVENTNR column, search for the Inventory Number of the newly installed motor
If there is only one equipment number in the extEquipNr column → continue with the next step. If there are multiple equipment numbers, note them all (except the current one).
Click Mode button
In the extEquipNr column, search for the first noted equipment number
In the INVENTNR column, select the new Inventory Number
Enter the Inventory Number of the removed motor and confirm with Enter
Repeat the process with the other noted equipment numbers
Click Close Form button
Exit the MOTORMASTER page
Update Power Distribution Allocation List
Compare all data from the new motor documentation sheet with the entry in the Power Distribution Allocation List
Transfer new measured values
Activate inspection (check the checkbox and verify current date)
