| **Edit Stop** | Block {{wvds:i18n>pims_users}} with edit {{wvds:i18n>pims_permissions}} |
| **Terminate** | Automatic shutdown of client applications |

===== Technical Process =====

<note>
Logged-in individual clients query the Msg-Master file every **10 seconds** for existing {{wvds:i18n>pims_settings}}. If an entry exists, it is executed within the defined period.

^ Parameter ^ Description ^
| **Start/End Time** | Execution period. Individual user system times are decisive! |
| **Display Times** | How often the action is executed (e.g., 10 = 12× total) |
| **Message** | The text to be displayed |
| **Reason** | Selection: Information, Edit Stop, Terminate |
| **Active** | Only activated messages are executed |

===== Function Details =====

**Information:**
  * {{wvds:i18n>pims_users}} are automatically shown the text
  * Display Times controls the display rhythm

**Edit Stop:**
  * Prevents saving a {{wvds:i18n>pims_record}}
  * Display Times can be set to 1
  * Only Start and End time are decisive

**Terminate:**
  * Causes automatic closing of AMED on user computers
  * Sensible setting: 2 to 10 minutes
  * Settings under 30 seconds are blocked
