====== 6.6 Password Reset ======

Using the function **"{{wvds:i18n>pims_admin}}/Passwords"**, the administrator can reset the passwords of individual {{wvds:i18n>pims_users}}.

If the password is not known, only **administrators** can reset passwords.
</note>

After restarting the database, the user can set a new password individually.
