===== Scanning a {{wvds:i18n>pims_barcode}} =====

  - Attach the scanning stylus adapter to the MTL 611 and open the keyboard
  - Press **Clear/On** 3 times
  - Use the down arrow key to go to **PROG** → press **exe** key
  - Use the right arrow key to go to **START** → press **exe** key
  - At START A: Use the down arrow key to select **{{wvds:i18n>pims_barcode}}** → press **exe** key
  - Enter **N**: Transfer existing data to the database
  - Enter **O**: Accept additional data into MTL611
  - Enter **S** to scan, **B** to end
  - Scan the {{wvds:i18n>pims_barcode}}
  - Enter the {{wvds:i18n>pims_measuring_point}} (e.g., B-PZ 08151) → press **exe** key
  - Answer the query with **Y** or **N**, **B** to end
  - Turn off: Press **Clear/On** 2 times → activate "off" with down arrow (**exe**)
  - Connect the power adapter for recharging

===== Transfer to Database =====

  - Select **Import {{wvds:i18n>pims_barcode}}** in AMED
  - Turn on MTL 611: Press **Clear/On** 2 times
  - Use the arrow key to select **"Comms"** → press **exe**
  - Move cursor to **"Send"** → press **exe**
  - Move cursor to **"Data"** → press **exe**
  - At "Send A..": Use down arrow to go to **{{wvds:i18n>pims_barcode}}** → press **exe**
  - Answer the query on the screen
  - After the signal tone: Press **Clear/On** 3 times
  - Use down arrow to go to **Off** → press **exe**
