With the ex-protected {{wvds:i18n>pims_barcode}} handheld scanner **MTL 611**, the database-specific {{wvds:i18n>pims_barcode}} data can be scanned in the plant facility.

===== Procedure =====

  - Connect the scanner to the **printer interface** of the user's computer
  - Import using the terminal application **vbterm.exe**
  - Transfer {{wvds:i18n>pims_barcode}} data to the database

The imported {{wvds:i18n>pims_barcode}} data is transferred to the **{{wvds:i18n>pims_barcode}} comparison form** of the {{wvds:i18n>pims_lifecycle}} and is available for direct comparison.

The **fully installed Code-Soft software** is required for printing the {{wvds:i18n>pims_barcode}}.

===== Important Notes =====

  * Printing the {{wvds:i18n>pims_measuring_point}} {{wvds:i18n>pims_barcode}} in the {{wvds:i18n>pims_lifecycle}} form is only possible **once**
  * Using the **{{wvds:i18n>pims_barcode}} function in the EzA/MSR menu**, group prints can be made
  * In this function, {{wvds:i18n>pims_barcode}} prints can also be executed **repeatedly**
