The motor selection function enables pre-selection based on motor location criteria:

  * Building
  * Floor
  * Motor type

===== Pre-selection =====

Marking a selection criterion performs a pre-selection. Detail selection is done by marking the motor in the selection field **"extended equipment number or {{wvds:i18n>pims_inventory_nr}}"**.

The filter selection can be deactivated via the **"c"** buttons.

===== Functions =====

^ Button ^ Function ^
| **Edit/Mount** | Opens the motor form with write permissions. Motor data can be modified and links between equipment and motors can be created or changed. |
| **Search/Reference** | Opens the motor form in read mode for motor search and reference motor management. |

All other users (except {{wvds:i18n>pims_emr}} users) only have read permissions.
